Sage Support Consultant: required to join the Sage 200 Consulting Team at DB Computer Solutions

THE ROLE

DB Computer Solutions is one of Ireland’s largest Sage Business Partners, with market-leading Sage 200 enterprise accounts expertise. Due to continuing growth, we now require a Sage 200 Support Consultant to join our team of technical support professionals.

DB Computer Solutions Technical Consultants work closely with clients to roadmap, deploy, and support Sage 200 (and Sage 200cloud) across Ireland. We also provide in-depth training for all Sage 200 functionalities, as well as tailor Sage 200 (and Sage 200cloud) to meet specific client needs. Additionally, we integrate a wide range of DB Consulting Solutions applications, as well as third party solutions, with Sage 200 to address vertical requirements. 

Knowledge of enterprise accounting solutions and third-party applications (Draycir, Sicon, Eureka), as well as a working understanding of business software, MS Excel, Power BI, MS SQL Server, and related business processes would be helpful.

THE REQUIREMENTS

If you are chosen to join us, you will work closely with DB Computer Solutions technical consultants across Sage 200 support and implementation tasks. 

The role also requires periodic client visits. Good communications skills, the willingness to work as a team member, and an ability to understand client requirements, are therefore a must. 

We are keen to find new team members who are Sage 200 savvy (or have experience with similar enterprise accounting solutions); communicate clearly (whether face-to-face, on the phone, or in writing); who are perceptive and can drill down quickly to gain an insight of any client issues; who can work as a team member to reconfigure Sage 200 to meet precise client requirements, write detailed custom reports, work to provide client training, and otherwise support Sage 200 end-users;

Who can provide insightful support to help customers overcome software issues; help them to gain a full understanding of Sage 200 functionalities, integrate additional applications with Sage 200, and otherwise help us provide the high levels of support our clients require.

·         Working knowledge of Sage 200 or similar enterprise accounting software (note: training will be provided for those who may not have this background, but who prove they can learn quickly); working knowledge of cloud technologies

·         Have past experience in a customer support role

·         Show they have the ability to work with, and contribute to, our team
